Team Lead Financial Reporting – Oil & Gas
Our client, a well managed Income Trust, is seeking a Team Lead Financial Reporting. Reporting to the controller you will lead a team responsible for internal and external financial reporting; lead the preparation of all necessary public disclosure documents; spearhead the accounting for acquisitions, organization restructuring, due diligence and prospectuses; implement new accounting standards as they relate to IFRS; participate in the final phase of the IFRS conversion and prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Key Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant
- A minimum 5 years post designation experience, preferably in the oil and gas
- Excellent technical accounting skills, strong analytical skills and solid written and verbal communication skills would be assets
- Superior problem solving skills and the ability to assess processes and procedures and to suggest improvements
