We are currently seeking an intelligent, energetic, self-motivated individual to lead the implementation of a Business Performance Management (BPM) program across the company. This individual will be responsible for helping define and implement all aspects of the BPM and will then focus on providing timely support to the business through gathering, analyzing and reporting on financial and operational data and in conducting root cause and variance analysis to assist management in decision-making. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the position involves communication across the organization at all levels. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, analytical person who is technically savvy and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading the planning, budgeting and forecasting process across the organization
• Designing and implementing new planning and reporting processes and tools
• Researching, assembling and analyzing historical, current and projected financial data for use in planning, reporting and operational management decision making
• Performing complex financial modeling and analysis
• Providing functional and operational assistance with financial policies, issues and best practices
Requirements
• Degree or diploma in finance or economics, with a recognized accounting designation
• At least six years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a multi-company multi-division distribution environment, having performed planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis for a group of companies
• Solid understanding of financial systems, financial processes and performance indicators
• Practical experience in budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis, cash flows and projections
• Demonstrable proficiency in database management and spreadsheet applications as well as hands on experience using current BPM software tools such as Prophix, Longview and Cognos
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Deadline driven, with the ability to adapt easily to change
• Bilingual

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’un analyste financier. Votre rôle sera principalement de préparer les budgets et d’assurer la mise à jour et le bon fonctionnement de rapports financiers. Par votre rigueur et la qualité des données sources, l’analyste financier analysera les données financières et opérationnelles ainsi que les écarts de performance afin d’assister la direction dans sa prise de décisions. Vous devrez fournir l’appui nécessaire, en respectant les délais requis, relativement à l’élaboration et au suivi d’indicateurs clés de performance. Ce poste exige une excellente communication à tous les niveaux de l’entreprise. La personne choisie sera très motivée, démontrera d’excellentes aptitudes analytiques et favorisera l’esprit d’équipe.
Responsabilités
Le champ de responsabilités est le suivant :
o Prendre en charge le processus de planification, de budgétisation et de prévisions financières, ainsi que de développer et de maintenir le système d’évaluation de la performance de la société;
o Gérer et améliorer l’analyses budgétaire, prévisionnelle et de performance;
o Concevoir et mettre en place de nouvelles procédures et outils de communication;
o Rechercher, unir et analyser les données historiques, actuelles et prévisionnelles, notamment concernant le cycle des ventes, comptes-clients et l’inventaire;
o Exécuter des analyses et des modèles financiers complexes;
o Contribuer, d’une manière fonctionnelle et opérationnelle, à l’établissement des politiques, des révisions financières et de pratiques visant l’excellence de la société.
Exigences
o Diplôme universitaire ou certificat en finances ou en économie, avec désignation reconnue en comptabilité;
o Minimum de 6 ans d’expérience en finances, en analyse avancée et en communication avec la direction, préférablement pour une entreprise possédant plusieurs sociétés du domaine de la distribution multi-divisionnaires;
o Connaissance approfondie des procédures et des systèmes financiers, ainsi que des indicateurs clés de performance;
o Expérience pratique en technique budgétaire et prévisionnelle ainsi qu’une expertise dans l’analyse des états financiers, des flux de trésorerie et des prévisions;
o Expertise démontrée dans la gestion de bases de données, de logiciels d’intelligence d’affaires et de tableurs;
o Excellent communication verbale et écrite, à tous les niveaux de la société;
o Forte motivation, respect des échéanciers et facilité d’adaptation aux changements;
o Bilinguisme.
