Our client, well-positioned in the vibrant market of oilfield services, is looking to hire in the capacity of Controller for its Calgary Head Office.
Following a recent merger, our client is looking for a Controller who can bring strength to its accounting team in the areas of financial reporting, processes, systems, operational accounting and team building. Requirements / Qualifications:
As a strong candidate to be positioned for the role of Controller, you are a Chartered Accountant with 5 or more years of post-designation experience combined with strong handbook knowledge and a proven track record in both financial reporting in a public company and corporate tax. A good knowledge of public company research and disclosure requirements is necessary as you will be preparing notes as well as assisting with the MD&A and participating in audit committee meetings.
