Lethbridge College has played an integral role in southern Alberta since 1957. While proud of its heritage, the College is equally excited about its future and the new vision that has been developed to engage learners and meet community needs. Reporting to the President and collaborating with a talented team of vice presidents, deans, and directors, the Vice- President, Corporate Services has a wide-ranging and challenging portfolio. S/he will provide visionary leadership to: the financial, business and investment interests of the College; ancillary and legal services; physical resources and property; human resources and labour relations (including collective bargaining).
The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of the portfolio areas, and experience at a senior level within a complex public-sector environment. The ability to think analytically and creatively in support of the College’s principles and vision, and to connect with the academic community at all levels, is essential. Candidates should possess a graduate degree and a professional accounting designation would be an asset.
